Vista by Viewpoint is an accounting software designed for the construction industry. The industry-leading solution that is scalable, configurable, and fully integrated, Vista provides timely reporting of critical financial data with unrivaled visibility and control.
Integration Process
This integration uses a custom report in D-Tools, where the user runs the report from the Project Editor. Once the report is created, save it as an excel and use the import functionality in Vista to import the products.
Fields Configuration
Vista requires the following columns. Depending on how you are using D-Tools and Vista, we will need to assist by mapping each of those fields accordingly. Please review the list below and provide us with a mapping request:
- Record Type
- Job#
- Contract Item
- Material Code = Model
- Material Description =
- Phase Code
- Cost Type
- Vendor = Custom Field 3
- Units = Quantity (Aggregation)
- UM = Custom Field 5
- Unit Cost = Unit Cost
- Amount
- Notes (Part #) = Part Number
- Quote # = Custom Field 4
Exporting Project Products (BOM)
You can export SI Project Items to Vista by running the custom report, and saving it as an excel file. Please contact api@d-toolshelp.com and request the custom report.
