Snippets allow you to add "boilerplate" text to fields in SI. Snippets save you time by allowing you to re-use text. They are available all throughout SI for fields like Custom Fields (long text), Notes, etc.

Adding/Editing/Deleting 

 

You can Add/Edit/Delete Snippets from your list. Below is the New Snippet form:

Snippet Groups 

 

Snippet Groups allow you to organize your Snippets. Clicking this button will allow you to create/modify your groups:
