Assigning Locations and Zones

Now is a good time to discuss all of the ways that you can assign a Location and/or Zone to a Product or Package.  Once a Product has been added to the PDM you have many ways that you can assign Locations/Zones:

1)    Double-click the Product in the PDM and assign the Location and Zone on the Product or Package Properties form.


2)    Select the Product then right-click->Assign->Location and Zone/Location/Zone:


Depending on your choice, a form will open allowing you to select a Location and/or Zone.



3)    Use the dropdowns to assign Location and Zones directly in the PDM.  To do this, make sure that the proper columns are displaying.  Click in the cell and use the dropdown arrow to make your selection.
