Calendar

Overview

 

This explains the Calendar view in SIX.

Details

 

The Calendar in SIX displays all Tasks and Service Orders and can be accessed via the Start menu:

You can choose to view just your Calendar which only displays Tasks/Service Orders assigned to you or you can view the Team Calendar.

Whichever you choose, the Calendar interface will open in its own window and will be read-only, i.e. no edits can be made. If you wish to change Tasks/Service Orders displayed on the Calendar, you must go edit them directly.

 

A project must be checked in to your SIX Server for the Tasks to display on the Calendar.

 

Both Calendars are similar so the shots below are for the Team Calendar since it has extra features.

Interface

Views

 

You can choose to view by Day, Work Week, Week, or Month:

Filters

 

You can choose to show just Tasks or just Service Orders. You can also choose to show completed Tasks or archived Service Orders if needed:

Resources

The default is "Unassigned" but you can select which Resources Tasks/Service Orders display on the Calendar:

The default setting is for the Calendar to be merged to show all selected Resource assignments on one Calendar:

If you uncheck this, only two Calendars will display at a time in the interface:

Exporting/Printing

 

You can export an .ics file of the Calendar or you can print it using the functions on the ribbon:
