Service Plan Reporting

There are two default Service Plan reports but you can create your own custom Service Plan reports via the Order Report Designer. You can generate your reports via the Service Plan Explorer or from the Service Plan Editor:

When you click the Reports button, the following dialog will open where you can select the run the default reports or any custom reports that you have:

Service Plan

Header

 

The header consists of your Company Information and the Client information (name, address), as well as the Service Plan Name and Number and date printed.

Introduction

 

The Header section is followed by the Introduction section that pulls the text from the RTF file associated with the Service Plan. This section will not display if there is no RTF file associated for the Introduction. Click here for details.

Plan Features

 

The Introduction section is followed by the Plan Features section that displays a bullet point list of the Service Plan Features you have associated with the Service Plan. This section will not display if no Service Plan Features exist for the Service Plan. Click here for details.

Plan Details Section

 

This section lists Plan Length, Auto-renew, and Start/End Date from the Service Plan. This section also lists the Service Plan Items that have been added to the Service Plan. Click here for details.

If you have a Service Plan item where you have set a different Start Date for other than the Service Plan Start Date, and set a number of payments, an asterisk will display next to the price and corresponding text will display. Click here for details.

If some/all of the Service Plan items are marked as Taxable, you can choose whether or not to display the prices with taxes included via a Report Parameter, see below.

Plan Approval Section

 

This section lists the totals for all for all of the Service Plan Items on the Service Plan grouped by the Frequency. Click here for details.

If some/all of the Service Plan items are marked as Taxable, you can choose whether or not to display the prices with taxes included via a Report Parameter, see below.

Parameters

 

You can choose what sections display on your Service Plan report by changing the Parameters for the report. To do this, right-click the report name and select "Edit Report Parameters":

This will open the following dialog:

Here you can choose to turn off any section (described above) of the report that you don't wish to display. In addition to turning off/on sections, you can also choose whether or not you want the "Auto renew" text to display in the Plan Details Section, see above.

You can also choose whether or not to display the pricing with taxes included in the Plan Details Section and the Plan Approval Section. If these parameters are unchecked, each of the above sections will display the text "Plus Applicable Taxes" as shown below:

When these parameters are checked, the sections will display the text "Prices Include Tax" as shown below:

Service Plan Hours

 

This report lists all of the Service Orders associated with an approved Service Plan and summarizes the actual hours on the Service Orders to compare against the allowable hours on the Service Plan.

Header

 

The header consists of your Company Information and the Client information (name, address), as well as the Service Plan Name and Number and date printed.

Service Orders

 

This section lists all Service Orders associated with an approved Service Plan followed by an hours analysis.

Service Plan Details on Client Reports

 

When running any stock Proposal, Line Item Detail, or Quote report in SI, you can choose whether or not to display the Plan Details section (described above) after the Project Summary section at the end of the reports. When running on of these reports, you will see an option to "Include Service Plan in report". When you check this box you will then see a link to select a Service Plan:

When you click this link, a dialog will open listing all of the Service Plans that are associated with the Project for which you are running the report:

When you run the report, a Service Plan Details section will display after the Project Summary section:

There are on Parameter for display options for the Service Plan Summary section on a Client Report but there are Report Settings for whether or not to display the "auto renew" text and whether or not to include tax in the price of the Service Plan Items.
