Overview

 

This explains D-Tools FreeTools.

Details

 

FreeTools PSL (Professional Symbol Library) is a free Visio add in (Visio 2007-2013 required) designed to allow users to easily document projects using industry standard CAD symbols.

FreeTools Menu

 

To get to the FreeTools menu start a FreeTools drawing, go to the top level Add-Ins>>FreeTools PSL.

This menu will allow the user to:

Register FreeTools

 

In order to get your company information and logo on to the Visio drawing page you need to register the software.  This can be done at the time of installation or you can register anytime by using the register menu.  In either case you will get the following form.  Add the appropriate information and press Save.

The information in the registration form will be automatically populated in the drawing

Add Project information

 

Clicking Project Information ion the FreeTools PSL menu will bring up the following form.  The user can use this form to add project specific information to the project.

The information on the project form will automatically be displayed on the drawing page.

View and Download Visio stencil sets

 

You can download new and updated stencil sets by using the FreeTools PSL>>Stencils Download functionality to get to this UI.  Just click on the stencil set you want to download when you get to this UI and click on Download.  The stencils will load from our server will automatically be installed on your local pc.
