Update from D-Tools Library

The Update From D-Tools Library feature allows you to compare differences in fields for Products and Labor Items in a Project with what is in the D-Tools Library.

Use this when you want to see if any fields have changed in the D-Tools Library after you downloaded and modified Products. This feature matches Manufacturer and Model fields. This feature respects any Aliases for Manufacturers as well as any Phase Mappings that you have set up.

Once you select the Product(s) that you want to compare, click Library->Update From button from the Catalog tab. This will open the following interface.

The Options button allows you to choose which fields will be updated to your local Product(s) from the D-Tools Library:

Keep in mind that any updated fields will only exist in this Project. You may want to do an Update to Catalog if you wish to make the updates global for future use.
