The J-STD-710 Audio, Video and Control Architectural Drawing Symbols was created by the CEA/CEDIA R10WG7 Residential Systems Documentation Working Group. More info can be found here. These new stencils will show up in the D-Tools section of the SIX stencil tree.
When building these new shapes we tried to follow the written specification as closely as possible. These are the commonalties between all the new shapes.
All shapes share the same Shape Data UI options. In the case of the speaker symbol below I have edited this UI to show a wall mount subwoofer with a green fill and a blue line.

A subset of the Shape Data UI is also available as a right click option on each symbol. The functionality remains the same as the same option in the Shape Data UI.
Each category/stencil has two Legend shapes. One shape, "Legend Fixed Size Editable", is a Visio grouped shape that can not be resized but can be edited. This shape only works at 1/4" to 1" scale. The other, "Legend Resizable", is a single shape that can be resized but is not editable. This shape works at all scales. Each legend has the symbol shape, The symbol name and the device options. The M and DO on the symbol designate whether the symbol has mount and device options. The Legend Fixed Size Editable shape is hidden from the stencil tree but can be accessed by opening up the stencil and following these steps:
